The first day of school was today! It was alright, I guess. Half the teachers I saw today I already knew (French, History) but I met two new teachers. I have Schlueter for Biology and McLaughlin for Geometry. I have to say Schluter's first impression reminded me of a Nazi, lol. We get there and he's like: "And now for the rules. A have a lot of rules in this classroom and am probably the strictest teacher in the school." That was unsettling. McLaughlin was alright. He seems sort weird but average. He tries too hard to be funny and no one laughs but when he isn't trying to be funny, he makes you laugh. Although he like The Office and Wikipedia! It's a bummer to have to do work again. Every single teacher today assigned homework and it was only the first day. But it's nice to get to see all my friends everyday.

So, what do I think happens to people after they die? I really have no idea. I don't believe in the whole heaven and hell thing but I do sort of think that there is more to life then just life its self. I think that if there is a higher force, they would be more forgiving to ever eternally damn someone in hell and if they would, that's not the kind of god I'll be worshiping. I think it's silly to say that you know what will happen to you after you die because no one knows. I don't really understand how people can base their religious beliefs on faith. Of course, there are no facts that can tell you what will happen to you after death so you can't know. Everything is possible really but I wouldn't say that anyone can actually know what will happen. Maybe we are reincarnated, maybe we go heaven, maybe we just rot in the ground somewhere, who knows.I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Wow, two days until school starts. We had to read 3 books this summer for our summer assignment (which I finished) but I still have to do grammer work, reference sheets and an essay. My parents won't even let me hang out with friends until I finish it. The good thing is that the books weren't that bad for the most part. I actually read a lot this summer. That's either a mark of insanity or maturity, I'm not sure which, lol.

Louden Up Now

It's 11:30 at night right now and here I am on the computer and the phone starts ringing. My whole family was already asleep. The first thing that actually thought was "if that's a telemarketer then I am going to flip on them" because we just expired on the "no call list" and are now getting a million calls from telemarketers. But my mom woke up upstairs and picked up the phone so I picked up the one downstairs to listen in and see who was calling at such an hour and my aunt is on the other line and she's like "alright, we just got to the airport and we'll be there in an hour and a half" and my mom is like "um, okay?". Apparently my aunt talked to her on the phone today and she told my mom that she would get here around 11:30. She was talking about PM but my mom assuming it was AM and that she was going to get here tomorrow morning. So my mom comes to me and is like "alright, move your stuff downstairs because your sleeping on the couch tonight. I hope your staying up until like 1:30 tonight because you need to be awake when she gets here, I'm going back to sleep." This was really unexpected, haha.
